The year of each roster coincides with each NBA season.

Here are the SOM Roster
Sheets from each of the NBA seasons listed above. The 1972-73 NBA season
was the first card set produced by S.O.M 30+ years ago back in
1973. Note that up to the 1990-91 NBA season, the original roster
sheets had one-year-ahead of the corresponding NBA season (i.e. 1990-91
NBA season set had "1991-92 Strat-O-Matic 23 Team Basketball Roster"
written on the corresponding roster sheet). Therefore, the "1987-88 Strat-O-Matic
23 Team Basketball Roster" would be from the 1986-87 NBA season.
The 1995 college season is currently not compatible with
the new cd-rom basketball game. The 1970-71 NBA season is the only season
on computer disk alone as well as the 1972-73 and 1973-74 ABA seasons,
though the cards from each of these seasons may be viewed using the card
image option currently offered). The following season card sets do not
have a corresponding computer season disk: 1974-75, 1977-78,
1978-79, 1979-80, 1981-82 and 1978-88. Please continue to
support S.O.M. by buying these older seasons in hope that they will
continue to add these un-computerized seasons. Remember that carded seasons up
and including the 1979-80 season sets are not compatible with the current
card sets as the card format had been changed back then.
